The actress, 41, looked gorgeous as she donned a black trouser suit and a navy top to play lifestyle guru Micah Keith, who is a close friend of Octavia’s character Poppy Parnell.

Oscar-winner Octavia, 50, cut a stylish figure in a white blouse and monochrome patterned coat as she strolled onto set.
The beauty paired this with black leggings and quilted boots, while wearing a black face mask to protect against COVID-19.
Octavia wore her raven locks in sleek flicks as she prepared to reprise her popular role.

In mid-October, Variety reported that Hudson had signed on to the show, in what is to be her first regular television role.
For the second season of Truth Be Told, Spencer will return as Poppy a true crime podcaster who sets out to solve a crime.
Poppy and Micah’s friendship is put to the test when the podcaster begins investigation a crime that both women are deeply entwined with.
Production on the new season began on October 26th, according to Variety.

The actress previously had single-episode guest spots on shows including Party Of Five and EZ Streets, and she hosted an episode of SNL 20 years ago, but her most extensive TV work was in a five-episode ark on Glee.
Truth Be Told was one of the earliest shows to debut on Apple’s burgeoning streaming service after premiering in December.
In the first season, Octavia’s character Poppy investigated the case of convicted murderer Warren Cave (Aaron Paul).
He was convicted years earlier of murdering the father of identical twins, a crime which Poppy made her name investigation.
But after he claims to have been wrongly convicted, she begins to investigate anew and as to come face-to-face with the man she helped put behind bars.
