Speaking about the new series, Kate said: ‘I am absolutely thrilled to be welcoming everyone to join me and my sidekick, Myles, every Saturday morning for Breakfast at Garraway’s.

‘We will have everything you need for a great weekend. I will have the best guests dropping by to tell us what they do to make their weekends great and live their best life. I can’t wait to get going!’

Kate and Myles delighted viewers with their unexpected friendship in the I’m A Celebrity jungle last year, with the Rak-Su admitting he had a crush on the presenter.

The announcement comes despite Myles revealing last week that he’d been rushed to hospital following a snowboarding accident, and on Wednesday the star revealed he was still in intensive care.

In a video posted to Instagram Stories the star said: ‘I was involved in a snowboarding accident about a week ago which resulted in me rupturing my spleen breaking, broken ribs and having internal bleeding. This resulted in blood in my lungs…

‘That’s why I haven’t been on social media. I took a turn for the worst I couldn’t function much and the last thing was from my mum. I’m getting better. I’m still in intensive care. Still got a lot of wires stuck to me…

‘That’s meds going straight to my jugular artery. That noise is they operated they put an incision through my rib cage just above my lungs made a puncture and just over three days or two days…

‘It’s drained 950ml of blood which apparently a lot of blood to be in your lungs but we’re good. This is a quick message to say thank you to everyone messaging. I’ve been told everyone’s been asking about me…

‘I’m [going to] get better and love life man because I came too close to death. If I didn’t listen to my mum… Thank god for listening to her and going to hospital who knows what would’ve happened and that took 12 hours.

‘Moral of the story… listen to people who know more than you and if you have a gut instinct, follow it. Just tuning in to tell you I love you and peace’.
