Jules Robinson says vile Insta troll who said they want her baby to ‘die’ DIDN’T violate guidelines

Pregnant Married At First Sight star Jules Robinson has revealed that a shocking message she recently received from a cruel Instagram troll did NOT violate the website’s guidelines.

On Wednesday, the 36-year-old shared a video on her stories talking about the incident, where an online bully told her that she wants her unborn child to ‘die.’

Jules said that while she has a meeting set up with Instagram on Friday to discuss the issue, her followers reported the troll, but were told that ‘people may express themselves differently.’

‘It’s freedom of hate’: Pregnant MAFS star Jules Robinson revealed on Wednesday that the vile Instagram troll who said they want her baby to ‘die’ DIDN’T violate the website’s guidelines

‘I’ve got a meeting with Instagram on Friday… they have been fantastic and they’re going to share with me what they do within this area, within Instagram,’ Jules said in a clip.

‘Unfortunately a lot of you reported that page and then a lot of you sent me a screenshot of what was sent back to you that said pretty much “people express themselves differently.”

Jules went on to say that she doesn’t agree with Instagram’s feedback and called it ‘freedom of hate.’

‘That’s not expressing yourself, that’s freedom of hate, not freedom of speech.’

She added: ‘By no means do I want to ban trolls off the face of the earth… but I do believe there should be consequences and they should be monitored.’

She finished by saying that the trolls ‘need help’ and she wants to genuinely get them the help they need.

Jules then shared a screenshot of the Instagram review of the troll’s account, after they were reported. It said that the account ‘likely doesn’t go against our community guidelines.’

Jules then said she was taking the incident further ‘for every single person that has been effected by repetitive online trolling, the bullied little kid, the struggling teenager, the reality TV personality that is targeted, public figures, my unborn child, anyone that is repeatedly tormented.’

Last week, Jules called for cyber-bullying to be recognised as a criminal offence, after sharing a shocking example of the messages she receives from trolls daily.

The pregnant reality star uploaded a screenshot of a cruel message she received which read: ‘Did your baby die yet? I have a feeling you just got fat again? I hope you have a painful miscarriage. Fat and ugly. Praying for your miscarriage.’

Discussing the severity of the message on Instagram Stories, the 36-year-old explained that it was past the point of ‘freedom of speech’ and was sent to purely ‘hurt her feelings.’

Explaining the regulations she wanted in place to combat cyber-bullying, Jules candidly explained in a video: ‘A while ago, I put up a [Instagram] Story saying how I’d like to make the changes to online bullying.

‘Certain things should be a criminal offence, and some people should be banned from social media for six months – and if they keep on doing, it’s a serious criminal rule that they are breaking!’

Going back to her case in point, Jules continued: ‘This message I got is just the kind of thing I’m talking about.

‘I’m not talking about freedom of speech and having an opinion because… I always have an opinion on things but what that person has done to me is purely just hurt me and my feelings.

‘It is completely wrong and disgusting, and this shouldn’t happen. I would like your support, and I would like you to report that page and get it shut down!’

Jules – who is expecting her first child with husband Cameron Merchant – also added a caption to the screenshot of the vile message she received.

‘Think once before you act, twice before you speak and three times before you post EVILNESS on social media #BeKindItFeelsBetter.’

In another Instagram Story post, she uploaded a screenshot of the troll account finally being reported.

She added: ‘Thank you for the support everyone. If anyone is ever struggling with a troll please send me the evidence and I will share [the post] to get support to shut down.

‘Yes, I know they can start another account, but it may help. This is my case. These relentless trolls should be monitored/banned. And if they keep on doing it, they can face serious charges. End of. This makes some people suffer and it’s just not on. ‘

Earlier on in the day, Jules hit back at internet trolls in a lengthy post shared to her Instagram account.

‘Dear Trolls, I apologise that my happiness and how I choose to live my purpose driven life offends you so much, it leads you to have the need to write such explicit horrible things to me,’ she began.

Jules continued: ‘I hope you can put the energy you put into this, into yourself.’

The reality star went on to say when someone is ‘happy within’ they have ‘no room for jealousy’.

‘Sorry to break it to you, but I will continue to be me, 100 per cent me so best not look.’
