Josh Brolin and his pregnant wife Kathryn get an early start to Thanksgiving preparations with a morning stroll
It was an early start for the Brolin family on Thanksgiving.
Josh Brolin, 52, and his wife Kathryn, 33, were early birds on Turkey Day, stepping out for a morning walk with their toddler on Thursday.
Kathryn, who is pregnant with the couple’s second child, served as the unofficially documentarian for the family holiday and shared snaps from the day on social media.

Around 6:30am Kathryn posted a photo to her Instagram Story of her husband getting the turkey prepped for dinner.
In the early morning snap, Josh was seen in a T-shirt and shorts (with bed head) getting the grill ready on the back porch.
Traditionally, the Thanksgiving bird is roasted in the oven – or sometimes deep fried – but the grill is a unique method. It looks like they’re skipping a whole turkey this year and using pieces which were marinating in plastic bags.
Later, Kathryn showed off her baby bump in black spandex while the couple took their daughter Westlyn, two, on a brisk stroll.

The expectant mom held the camera and filmed herself and her family as they walked along a picturesque path.
With leaves crunching under their feet, Kathryn glowed with her long hair down and a scarf wrapped around her neck.

This will likely be the last holiday the family will spend as a trio since Kathryn is currently pregnant and due in December.

Josh, who wed Kathryn in 2016, was the one to unveil the couple’s baby news back in July via Instagram.
And then Kathryn made an announcement of her own on her Instagram page that read: ‘The Brolin’s are a growin’!! Our little December babe is on the way…. ?.’
Although this will be Kathryn’s second child, Josh also has two children, daughter Eden, 26, and son Trevor, 32, with his ex wife Alice Adair.
Josh is every bit the doting dad when it comes to Westlyn so the new addition will be well loved.

On Wednesday, the Avengers actor shared a sweet black and white image of his toddler looking at some horses.
‘The way you hug animals moves me,’ he penned in the caption. ‘I don’t know if you’re quite hugging them or it’s them who is hugging you and you just make yourself available for it.’
‘It’s unique, the way you approach them. It’s unique, the way they look to you as if they’ve been missing you for a long time.’
