Joe McElderry unveils his quarantine transformation as fans praise the X Factor star’s ‘lockdown curls’
He recently celebrated 10 years since his famous X Factor win.
And Joe McElderry delighted his fans on Friday as he unveiled his lockdown looks, with many complimenting his new curls.
The singer, 28, will be celebrating his birthday on Tuesday and revealed plans to host a big birthday night-in to raise fund for The Customs House, his hometown theatre in South Shields.

The X Factor winner will be enjoying a night of music, games and celebrations live on Twitch with his followers.
But many of his fans were distracted by Joe’s transformation in lockdown, saying he looked like Joseph from his days performing in the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical.
One said they loved his ‘lockdown curls’ while another said ‘you’ve got your Joseph curls back!’.

Joe, then 18, won the X Factor in 2009, seeing off a stellar season of contestants including Olly Murs and Stacey Solomon.
He recently reminisced about his time on the show which catapulted him to fame.
He said: ‘Every time I see that clip, I feel so old, I look so young on there!’
The Ambitions singer also discussed working with music legend George Michael during his time on the talent show.
He said: ‘I have met many people in this industry but I’ve never met somebody who has been as successful as somebody like George Michael and be so humble and lovely and caring and give so much time in the rehearsal room…
‘He made that whole moment about me. It was just so sweet. He didn’t like the fuss.’
Since the X Factor, Joe has gone on to win Popstar to Operastar and performed in a number of musicals.
