Jimmy Fallon remembers to put on his face mask while walking golden retriever Gary in The Hamptons … as he celebrates wife Nancy’s 53rd birthday during lockdown

Jimmy Fallon remembered his important PPE mask while taking his family dog, Gary, out for a walk near his home in The Hamptons.

The 45-year-old host of the Tonight Show was spotted on a stroll with the golden retriever on Monday, which also happened to be his wife Nancy’s birthday.

During coronavirus lockdown, the couple has been staying at their second home outside of New York City with daughters Frances and Winnie where they are working as a family to put together at-home episodes of his late-night talk show.

Nature calls: Jimmy Fallon was spotted taking his family dog, Gary, out for a walk near his home in The Hamptons on  Monday which also happened to be his wife Nancy’s 53rd birthday

Fallon kept it casual on his walk sporting a five o’clock shadow and wearing a simple pair of olive colored slacks and matching jacket with a blue and red striped T-shirt.

At first he wasn’t wearing a protective mask, which many states and municipalities have mandated during the outbreak, but he later remembered and put it on.

Gary the dog and Jimmy have gotten into a walking routine while in lockdown and Fallon has kept his social media fans entertained with snaps of the pair, as well as a video segment starring the canine.

Monday also mark’s Fallon’s wife Nancy’s 53rd birthday, which she will have to celebrate with just her nuclear family while in self-isolation.

Jimmy met Nancy, a film producer, on the set of Saturday Night Live and the two tied the knot in 2007. Both their daughters, Winnie born in 2013 and Frances born in 2014, were birthed via surrogates.

When quarantine is over, Nancy will be able to beef up her impressive resume with all the jobs she has been doing to help Jimmy put together the Tonight Show at home.

Nancy steps in front of the camera alongside her husband for a new getting-to-know- you segment called ‘Ask the Fallons.’

She has also served as Fallon’s camera person and their daughters have handled the art department with hand-drawn photos and images.

Family affair: Nancy and the girls also step in front of the camera alongside Jimmy for a hysterical new getting-to-know- you segment called ‘Ask the Fallons’

The young girls are arguably the best part of the revamped DIY version of the show as they are a near constant source of hilarious interruptions, background noises and, recently, they even starred in their own segment.

During Friday’s episode, Winnie and Franny joined Jimmy for his Thank You Notes segment which went off the rails nearly immediately.

The girls and their dad began the segment giggling hysterically and then the whole production devolved into chaos with music issues, distractions and general hysterics.
