When in Tokyo! Former footballer Jimmy Bartel and girlfriend Lauren Mand flaunt their romance as they embark on a go-kart tour in Japan
They’re currently enjoying a romantic holiday in Japan, and on Friday, former footballer Jimmy Bartel and his girlfriend, Lauren Mand toured Tokyo in go-karts.
The couple donned cartoon onesies for the popular tour, which sees tourists driving around the city in go-karts while dressed in costumes.
‘Living out my childhood in real life. Such a highlight seeing Tokyo at night, driving around like Mario Kart,’ Lauren, 31, captioned a series of photos on Instagram.

In one photo, the beaming couple sit side-by-side in their go-karts as cars speed by them, entering and exiting a tunnel.
Another photo sees Jimmy, 36, wrapping an affectionate arm around his girlfriend, with Tokyo’s illuminated skyline visible behind them.
The pair jetted to Tokyo on Tuesday, and have continued to flaunt their romance all over social media since.

Shortly after their arrival, Lauren shared a photo of herself and Jimmy standing alongside each other in matching purple tracksuits with pink, aqua and white stripes.
‘Fashion forward in Tokyo, just trying to blend in,’ she caption the photo, before referencing TV couple Kel and Kath from the hit comedy series, Kath & Kim.
On Wednesday, she posted loved-up photos from their visit to Kyoto, including one where they shared a kiss on the lips.

‘My favourite person,’ Lauren captioned the pictures.
Jimmy was first linked to Lauren just days after his split with his wife of five years, Nadia Bartel, was made public in August last year.
In September, Daily Mail Australia revealed that Lauren was planning to move back to Australia after spending several months living in England.

She had relocated from Melbourne to London early last year, but is now believed to be living in Australia permanently.
The Bartels announced their split on August 15 – around two months after Nadia, 34, moved out of their marital home in Melbourne.
The former couple married in February 2014 in a lavish ceremony on the Bellarine Peninsula, and they share two sons, four-year-old Aston and one-year-old Henley.
