Jesy Nelson insists ‘being kind is the best thing you can be’ as she shares heartwarming post
She has been keeping a low profile since announcing her decision to leave Little Mix.
And Jesy Nelson has reminded her social media followers to ‘be kind’ as she continues to come to grips with life since departing the band.
The former Little Mix singer, 29, took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday and shared a clip of a woman who lost her job due to Covid-19 and was surprised by the residents in her building buying her the penthouse.

Alongside the heartwarming video, Jesy wrote: ‘being kind is the best thing you can be in my eyes’.
The hitmaker has previously spoken about dealing with trolling in the past and starred in the documentary Odd One Out about social media abuse.
When she left Little Mix, Jesy said one of the reasons for her departure was finding the ‘constant pressure’ of being in a girl group difficult to deal with.
She wrote: ‘The truth is recently being in the band has really taken a toll on my mental health. I find the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard.

‘There comes a time in life when we need to reinvest in taking care of ourselves rather than focusing on making other people happy, and I feel like now is the time to begin that process.
‘So after much consideration and with a heavy heart, I’m announcing I’m leaving Little Mix.’
Jesy emotionally added: ‘I need to spend some time with the people I love, doing things that make me happy.
‘I’m ready to embark on a new chapter in my life – I’m not sure what it’s going to look like right now, but I hope you’ll still be there to support me.

‘I want to say thank you to everyone involved in our journey. All the hard work and dedication that went into making us a success.
‘To every single fan who came to see us in concert, who listened to our songs and sung their hearts out, sent me messages and supported me along the way I want you to know I love you all so much and I could never have done this without you and I appreciate it endlessly.
‘Most of all I want to say thank you to Jade, Perrie and Leigh-Anne for creating some of the most amazing memories I’ll never forget. I hope that you’ll continue to fulfil all of your dreams and keep on making music that people love. Love Jesy x.’
Meanwhile, Jesy recently split from her boyfriend Sean Sagar after nine months of dating, deleting all trace of their romance from social media.

A source told The Sun: ‘Jesy and Sean have decided to take some time apart. It’s such a shame as they made a lovely couple but recently things haven’t been right between them.
‘Jesy just left Little Mix and is working hard on herself right now — she has to put herself first.
‘Lockdown has made it really difficult too, so for now Jesy and Sean are taking time apart from each other.’
Jesy and Sean first began dating last April and kept their relationship quiet at first, following her split from ex-boyfriend Chris Hughes.
The singer first went Instagram official with Sean in October, sharing a slew of cute snaps with the TV star who she called her ‘everything’.
