Of course, having her mother’s work feature on her guitar means the world to Jessica, as Colleen has been her and twin sister Lisa’s ‘biggest fan’.

‘My mama is our biggest fan, touring with us for 10 years. Her and dad supporting our dreams since we were little girls,’ the singer continued.

‘After she was diagnosed with a rare neurological disease, she had to enter 24hr care. But during this time she developed a passion for painting. She creates the most beautiful abstract perspectives through her art.

The touching tribute to the girls’ mother comes after Jessica took to social media to praise her mother on International Women’s Day for everything she has done for her and her sister Lisa.

‘This petite, brave, hilarious, brilliant, strong and compassionate woman is our best friend, our day 1, and greatest inspiration in all we do,’ she wrote.

‘Our mama taught us to work hard, stay humble & believe in ourselves.’

She also opened up about the heartbreaking battle the family are going through with their mother’s diagnosis.

‘Because of the lack of research & information available, each step & new symptom of this disease is discovered through the experience of living it,’ the singer shared.

‘I will never have the words to explain how unbearable it is to see someone you love go through something like this.’
