Jessica Alba to star in and produce documentary series Parenting Without Borders for Disney+

She’s an actress, businesswoman and mom of three.

And on Wednesday, Deadline.com reported that Jessica Alba is adding to her resume as host of a new documentary series for Disney+ streaming service.

The 38-year-old will star in and executive produce Parenting Without Borders in which she will explore ‘beliefs and practices shaping families today’.

The show will film in various locations around the world and has been described as ‘Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown for parenting’. 

It’s based on the book Parenting Without Borders: Surprising Lessons Parents Around the World Can Teach Us by Christine Gross-Loh that was published in 2013.

The project dovetails nicely into Alba’s profile as the co-founder of The Honest Company which sells ethical and natural baby, household and beauty products.

Alba found fame at 19 as the star of the TV show Dark Angel which ran from 2000 to 2002.

She went on to enjoy success on the big screen with movies such as Sin City, Machete, Fantastic Four, Little Fockers and Spy Kids: All the Time in the World.

In 2008, she married Cash Warren after four years of dating.

They share three children – daughters Honor, 11, and Haven, eight, and son Hayes, two.
