‘It’s upsetting’: Jess Wright has admitted she may be forced to postpone her wedding to her fiancé William Lee-Kemp due to the current restrictions brought by the coronavirus pandemic

The TV star, whose parents, grandparents and uncle all fell ill with the deathly virus over the festive period, explained how she’s been getting on during the global crisis.

Singer Jess told Entertainment Daily: ‘We have had to consider every single option of course so it has definitely been upsetting thinking we may have to cancel or postpone. However, we are remaining to keep the faith and hope it goes ahead.

‘The current climate has made us stronger as we have spent so much time together so quickly after getting engaged, and proved we can get through that. We are very happy and excited about our future. It’s not been the most plain-sailing engagement.

‘Our heads have been totally scrambled throughout the whole process due to the virus but as I have said, so long as we are healthy, that’s all that matters. If the wedding goes ahead it will be amazing. It’s nearly planned completely.’

Audio visual company business owner William popped the question on the snow capped peaks of Courchevel, France, last February after 13 months of dating.

Last year, the pair confirmed they would be getting hitched in a beach ceremony in Majorca and plan to have 15 bridesmaids.

Jess told Hello! magazine that her sister-in-law Michelle Keegan, 33, the actress wife of her brother Mark, would be one of the members of her bridal party.

While the happy couple have holidayed in many exotic locations, she explained that the Spanish hotspot has been like a second home to her as her family have a house on the island.

The brunette shared: ‘I’ve been dreaming of a fairytale wedding since I was little, when I used to dress up in my mum’s net curtains.

‘Now I can’t wait for the moment I’ve been imagining for so long, walking up the aisle in a fabulous dress to marry Will.’
