Jennifer Lawrence seen for the first time in six months grabbing wine with husband Cooke Maroney

She’s been hunkering down during quarantine.

Jennifer Lawrence was spotted for the first time in about six months stepping out with her husband Cook Maroney in New York City on Monday.

The newlyweds looked like they were headed out for a fun night as they both carried a bottle of white wine and a bottle of red wine, respectively.

During the course of quarantine, the Oscar winner has kept an extremely low profile along with her art gallerist husband.

The star looked stunning as she was seen on a walk in New York City wearing a floral silk slip dress in earthy tones by Lili Notan.  

In a nod to the fashion of the nineties, Lawrence’s black lacy bralette was visible beneath the thin straps of the delicate dress.

She paired the feminine look with a pair of white sneakers by Christian Dior, a label she is all too familiar with as a longtime spokesmodel with the luxury fashion house.

Jennifer’s blonde hair was pulled back in an undone low updo with some messy tendrils left out to frame her face – which she had covered by a disposable mask.

The Hunger Games actress accessorized her look with a black leather Gucci bag and some layered necklaces.

Both she and her husband each carried a bottle of wine as they headed to their destination.

Cooke, whom she wed in October of 2019, was dressed simply in a pair of khaki pants, a white T-shirt and blue trainers.

Jennifer has never been shy about her love for wine or other cocktails and earlier in the pandemic joked with her good friend Amy Schumer about their drinking habits.

During a taping of the comedian’s cooking show, Amy Schumer Learns to Cook, she called Lawrence to shoot the breeze.

‘We’re drinking chardonnay because, as you know, I like an oaky chard,’ Amy quipped to Jennifer on speaker phone. ‘What kind of wine do you like? I don’t remember because I’m a bad friend.’

Lawrence is more of a ‘red wine person’ but if she is drinking white, she goes for a crisp Sauvignon blanc.

‘I mean, if I’m drinking white, which I think is mainly for sl*ts,’ Lawrence laughed during their banter. ‘You like a nice red wine and earlier in the night,’ Amy added.

The Red Sparrow star revealed that she’s been trying to postpone her daily cocktail until later in the night, which has been a challenge during quarantine.

‘I’m trying to wait until 6 p.m., so I have, like, a preemptive beer at 5,’ Jennifer joked.

Since Hollywood shut down due to the pandemic, Lawrence’s usually busy schedule has lightened up considerably. 

She has, however, had a few major milestones occur over the course of lockdown. Earlier this month the American Hustle star quietly celebrated her 30th birthday. 

Her good friend Kris Jenner took to social media to with a celebratory post of Jennifer, who she called her ‘favorite daughter,’ to commemorate the big day.

Lawrence also finally unloaded her massive New York City penthouse which had been on the market for a year.

Unfortunately for the actress, she took a massive $5.7 million loss on the sprawling property which she had scooped up for nearly $10 million previously.
