John Mayer just can’t seem to let go of his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston whom he dated from 2008 until 2009 and was seeing again in 2019.
Over the weekend the 43-year-old Wonderland singer liked a post about the 51-year-old Friends star on a fan account named JenniferAnistonFaniston.
It does not appear as if John follows this fan account and was merely dropping by the page for a visit.

The person who runs the fan account shared a black and white image of Jennifer on a bicycle; the photo looked to be several years old.
The account owner said: ‘I just can’t with these pictures.’
And John hit the like button.
In April Jennifer joined the Edge Of Desire hitmaker’s Instagram Live as he discussed meeting the late singer Bill Withers.
‘Whether he was speaking to you or speaking to an interviewer 15 years ago, 14, 13 years ago, everything he said is useful,’ the 42-year-old Grammy winner said of the Lean on Me singer, who past at 81 in April.
Mayer’s next comment prompted Aniston, 51, to comment three laughing emojis, in front of nearly 20,000 followers.

‘Four percent of the things that I say are useful. One hundred percent of the things he said were useful,” Mayer joked on the livestream.
While the pair met at an Oscars party in 2008 and briefly dated again after reuniting in 2019 and splitting the same year, they were recently seen leaving the same restaurant ‘moments apart’ in February.
At the time of their romance’s demise, John had some less-than-flattering comments to say about the beloved Golden Globe winner.
Speaking to Playboy, he said: ‘I’ll always be sorry that it didn’t last. In some ways I wish I could be with her. But I can’t change the fact that I need to be 32.’

‘One of the most significant differences between us was that I was tweeting,’ he noted. ‘There was a rumour that I had been dumped because I was tweeting too much.’
He added: ‘The brunt of her success came before TMZ and Twitter. I think she’s still hoping it goes back to 1998.’
Speaking herself to Vogue about their split, Jennifer said: ‘He had to put that out there that he broke up with me. And especially because it’s me. It’s not just some girl he’s dating. I get it. We’re human.’

‘It doesn’t take away from the fact that he is a wonderful guy. We care about each other,’ she said at the time.
She concluded, ‘There was no malicious intent. I deeply, deeply care about him; we talk, we adore one another. And that’s where it is.’
Despite resisting the urge to join social media, like Mayer pointed out 10 years ago, her Instagram debut, in October, was so successful it broke the internet.
As millions of fans attempted to follow the Hollywood icon, her first photo quickly amassed millions of likes.

Instagram apologized for the technical difficulties, with a spokesperson telling Page Six: ‘We are aware that some people are having issues following Jen’s page — the volume of interest is incredible.’

Meanwhile, Ashley Graham slid into Aniston’s DMs last week.

The ‘Morning Show’ star said: ‘I’m not going to say it was peer pressure, but it was peer pressure. If you can’t beat them, join them, right?’
And Jennifer also confessed she had a ‘stalker account’ before officially joining Instagram as she wanted to understand how it all worked.
She said: ‘It was a stalker account. When I was thinking about doing this, I sort of figured it was time to kind of understand the world and dip my toe into the social media pool.’
The ‘Friends’ actress broke the Guinness World Record for the fastest time to reach 1 million followers after sharing a selfie with her castmates, taking just five hours and 16 minutes to amass the milestone.
The actress had hinted a few days prior that she was thinking about joining Instagram because she likes the ‘control’ over her life it would offer her.
She said: ‘What you resist, persists. It’s something that is a part of our world now and it’s not going away … You can actually have a little bit more control over the narrative that’s out there. You can right some wrongs and some silly things that, God knows, are said often.’
