Jake confessed Megan, 31, was probably the first and only girl he’d ever loved during a heartfelt conversation with Helena Sauzier on their date.
But fans were divided, offering up mixed opinions about the 33-year-old’s revelations on Twitter.

Another added: ‘Jake is just trying to get over her. But Paradise is not the environment to do it.’

Speaking to Helena, 25, Jake admitted he’d returned to Bachelor In Paradise hoping to recreate the chemistry he’d felt when he first met Megan during his 2018 appearance on the show.
‘Obviously there was something there, that’s why we kept coming back. Last time I was here in Paradise, I fell head over heels in love with Megan,’ he told her.
‘Honestly can say now from the second she walked in, I think I was in love with her… I did have my heart broken.’

His raw admission prompted Helena to question whether Jake was ready to find love again on Bachelor In Paradise.
‘I don’t think Jake’s head and heart is in this. And he’s made a couple of comments about his ex,’ she said.
‘He had this awesome experience, where he walked in, sparks were flying with Megan, he knew she was The One. So… how can I compete with that?’
