Chatting to hosts Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng, she said: ‘I’m happy and it’s very early days, although I’ve known him for years.

‘I actually met him five years ago. In Marbs, would you believe it Bob. Of course, but yeah, it’s early days and I’ll just see where it goes.’

The reality star and mother to Sunday, three, has been single since May when she split from her New York-based boyfriend Albie Gibbs.

When asked how her new relationship has gone from five years of friendship to now romance, Ferne revealed: ‘I feel like everyone these days can keep in contact with people via social media and Instagram.

‘Like, you can see what people are up to. You don’t have to be texting every so now and then.

‘But you know, these circles are quite small in London and Essex and the surrounding areas. So, you know, you might bump into old flames from time to time.’

Suggesting that the pair might have been romantically involved in the past, Ferne added: ‘You’re not going to meet anyone in lockdown for goodness sakes so we’re having to tap up some old flames!’

While things may be going well for Ferne and Jack, the First Time Mum star insisted she has no plans to walk up the aisle in the near future.

She said: ‘You know you get people who use Pinterest boards to plan their wedding and their interior design, quote of the day and all that nonsense. I’m definitely not getting married any time soon, let’s face it!’

Ferne recently admitted that she’s sought therapy for the past three years to help her with personal issues, and the change in the star was very clear.

She said: ‘Of course I have wobbles and I’ve definitely had my fair share of struggles, but I just know what it takes to pick myself up quick.’

‘Whereas before, if I didn’t know these sort of things, and that’s a case of exercise and fueling my body with goodness, simple things, like making sure that I’m drinking enough water. And wine, obvs. I’ve got to strike a good balance there guys.’

The beauty revealed the changes that she’s making in 2021 too to continue working on herself, saying: ‘I’m big into meditation, mindfulness and counting my gratitudes every night. And I’ve started journaling, which is like a 2021 resolution of mine.

‘But just by doing all of these things and creating almost like your own little rituals and small daily disciplines can really, really help, even though it might seem like a big task.’

Speaking of the year ahead, Ferne admitted that she’s ‘actually welcoming the uncertainty’ and wants to try and be more positive.

She said: ‘You don’t know what’s going to happen, like we can’t plan for goodness sake because our plans seem to go out the window and we can’t really do a lot.

Ferne added: 'You know, these circles are quite small in London and Essex and the surrounding areas. So, you know, you might bump into old flames from time to time'

‘So I’m just like, do you know what, I’m here for it, what will be will be, and I don’t want to drum too much about it but I’m literally so into manifesting and meditating and making vision boards that I’m just hoping for the best guys!’

Ferne told MailOnline in October last year she had been using celebrity-dating app Raya to meet her next partner – after turning 30 months earlier and asking herself: ‘Am I going to be single forever?’

She said at the time: ‘Turning 30… I had that whole moment where I’m still single… as a female, when you’re single at 30 you really start to question yourself and you think “am I ever going to find anyone?” This isn’t what I planned.’
