Comedians are professionals at making people laugh.
And 10 Australian stand-up comics’ skills will be put to the ultimate test on Rebel Wilson’s new Amazon Prime Video series in June.
Potentially one of Australia’s wildest TV shows, Rebel will put some of the country’s funniest comedians through a tough challenge for a $100,000 prize.

This first-of-its-kind comedy social experiment will challenge 10 stars to refrain from laughing while taunting each other with jokes, skits and quips.
Leading Australian comedians taking part include Dilruk Jayasinha, Frank Woodley, Nazeem Hussain, Anne Edmonds, Ed Kavalee, Becky Lucas, Joel Creasey, Nick Cody, Sam Simmons and Susie Youssef.
Hosted and executive produced by Rebel, the actress will monitor the star-studded cast from a control room and determine who gets eliminated.
The final comedian left standing, without cracking under the pressure to laugh, will win the grand prize of AUD$ 100,000.

The official trailer was released on Wednesday, and provides a sneak peek of the hilarious series to come.
‘If you laugh, you lose,’ Rebel says in the clip.
‘It’s actually a nightmare, when you think about it,’ comedian Anne Edmonds admitted in the trailer about the struggle to remain indifferent.

Rebel recently promoted her new Amazon Prime Video series on Instagram in April.
She posted a photo sitting alongside several of the show’s stars, such as Frank Woodley, Ed Kavalee, Nazeem Hussain and Susie Youssef.
‘Very intrigued to see what people think about this new show: Last One Laughing (LOL) for Amazon x (coming in June),’ she captioned the post at the time.
The show follows the successful release of multiple seasons of the same format by Amazon Prime Video in Japan and Mexico.
The Australian series will premiere on Friday, June 19 on Amazon Prime Video
