Instagram model Casey James buys two-bedroom apartment in Bondi

Instagram model Casey James has splashed out on a stunning art deco apartment in Bondi – just a stones throw away from the beach.

The 22-year-old, who is based in Avalon on Sydney’s northern beaches, spent $1.025 million on the two-bedroom unit, Realestate.com.au reported on Tuesday. 

It sits on the top floor and features high ceilings, polished timber floors and has white painted walls – maximising the home’s bright and breezy feel.

The apartment’s spacious first bedroom is positioned at the front of the property and features a window seat that looks out onto the street leading down to the sand and surf.

It is then followed by well designed and minimalist bathroom featuring marble hexagon mosaic tiles.

Meanwhile, the second bedroom also offers guests staying over a spacious area.

The open living and dining space features large windows that allow natural light to flow through during the day and amplify the neutrally decorated room.

Among the details throughout the 65sqm home is the ornate ceilings and decorative joinery, typical of the property as it was built in the 1930s. 

The home’s combined kitchen and laundry features sleek, white cabinetry and plenty of storage space, as well as marble counter tops for a luxurious feel. 

Aside from being just a short walk away from Bondi Beach, the apartment is also close to local restaurants, cafes and boutique stores.

Casey, who has modelled for Lorna James and Cotton On, celebrated the purchase by sharing a photo of herself and a congratulatory drink with her 261,000 Instagram followers on Sunday.
