Hollyoaks’ Jennifer Metcalfe channels her inner superhero as she dons Spiderwoman costume for son Daye in heartwarming post amid coronavirus lockdown
Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe was sure to warm her social media followers hearts as she shared an adorable Instagram post dressed as Spiderwoman.
The 36-year-old took to the photo-sharing platform on Thursday to post a plethora of adorable snaps of her dressed as the marvel character in a bid to cheer her son Daye up amid the current coronavirus lockdown.
In the adorable Instagram post, the soap star, who has played Mercedes McQueen Hollyoaks since 2006, revealed that playing the superhero was her ‘favourite role to date’.

Dressed in the comicbook character’s navy and red suit, Jennifer pulled a spidey-esque pose in the first shot alongside her little boy, who was dressed as Spiderman, as they stood outside.
Getting into the superhero spirit, the TV star was then seen jumping on her bed with Daye as they continued to practise their moves.
The brunette beauty captioned the fun-filled snaps, ‘Probs my favourite role to date !!’ which left her followers commenting in their droves about how it most definitely his day and praised her mothering.
One follower commented underneath the post: ‘Bless him bet it made his day that’.

‘So I do five days a week eating whatever I want – in moderation though – and two days where I fast,’ she explained. ‘And actually I love my fasting days.
‘I still have supplements like shakes and stuff like that, but I’m always eager to do my fast days because I don’t have to think too much about it.
‘I am so busy with my son, fasting days gives me a day off from trying to sort out what I am going to eat.’
