Oops! Holly Willoughby was left in hysterics during Tuesday’s This Morning when she accidentally began chatting to the director in her earpiece

During the show, , Holly and Phillip Schofield were joined by some of their This Morning colleagues to suggest some of the best box sets to binge in the midst of the pandemic.

Up first, Holly recommended a documentary miniseries called The Jinx, but seemed to forget that she was on-set and began chatting as if she was talking to the director by explaining that she would ‘set the scene’ first.

Realising her mistake, she said: ‘I’m talking to you like you can actually hear the director, sorry we’re having a little chat! I haven’t done that for years!’

Through his own laughter Phil scolded his pal by saying: ‘That’s page one in the handbook!’

Holly and Phil eventually managed to regain their composure and continue the segment, which saw them all offer their choices for the best TV to watch.

The pair showed viewers various activities they could enjoy if they’re forced to self-isolate, and even paid a visit to a Cath Kidston shop.

Geri and Bluebell then demonstrated how they can paint and decorate an apron using fruit shapes and brushes.

The singer shares Bluebell with screenwriter Sacha Gervasi. She has been married to Formula One mogul Christian Horner since 2015, and they have son Montague, three.

It comes as the UK continues to be gripped by the coronavirus pandemic, with those over 70 and with pre-existing health conditions advised to stay at home.
