The So Yesterday singer was effortlessly chic in a flowered blouse and light-wash jeans with knee-high boots.

‘[I] was incredibly excited to launch ‘Lizzie’ on D+ and my passion remains,’ she wrote last week on Instagram. ‘However, I feel a huge responsibility to honor the fans’ relationship with LIZZIE who, like me, grew up seeing themselves in her.’

Last Tuesday, Duff also shared a news clip announcing Love, Simon (a spin-off on the film) was cancelled on Disney+ but will move to Hulu under the new name Love, Victor.

Reboot thoughts: The Lizzie McGuire alum, who publicly plead with new Disney+ series to move her iconic show on their other streaming service Hulu earlier this week, flaunted her trim waist in her form-fitting denim bottoms on the solo outing

From 2001 to 2004, Duff starred in the title role of the show which followed Lizzie, her two best friends Miranda and Gordo (Adam Lamberg who was expected to return), as they navigated middle school tackling bullies, crushes and everyday life.

In her post, Duff expressed her desire to keep the same authenticity the series had nearly two decades ago in the reboot.

‘I’d be doing a disservice to everyone by limiting the realities of a 30 year old’s journey to live under the ceiling of a PG rating,’ the singer wrote.

Adding: ‘It’s important to me that just as her experiences as a preteen/ teenager navigating life were authentic, her next chapters are equally as real and relatable.’

With a desire to still do the show with more mature content, Duff asked the show be moved to Hulu, which the network has done with other spin-offs.

‘It would be a dream if Disney would let us move the show to Hulu, if they were interested, and I could bring this beloved character to life again,’ she said on the post, simply captioned ‘Lizzie McGuire.’
