‘I’m large and in charge!’ Heavily pregnant Katy Perry shows off her baby bump as she reveals she’s now 190lbs and ‘grateful’ for her body
Heavily pregnant Katy Perry looked absolutely radiant during an interview on the Kyle and Jackie O radio show on Monday morning.
The American singer, 35, delightedly showed off her baby bump in a crop top, as she explained she was now 190lbs and was at the stage in her pregnancy were her hands and feet were ‘swelling up.’
Preparing to have her hands full as a new mother, the 35-year-old also noted that she ‘would be surprised’ if her little girl wasn’t active given that the DNA between her and fiancé Orlando Bloom was ‘very high energy.’

Katy didn’t hesitate in showcasing her bump, as she hilariously told the radio hosts she was ‘large, marge, and in charge.’
Discussing how she was coping with her pregnancy during the unprecedented COVID-19 lockdown period, Katy explained that she had found a right balance.
‘I’m a very active woman during this time of COVID and the American Revolution [Black Lives Matter movement]. I have been putting out songs and working really hard.
‘One blessing is that I don’t have to travel [for work], which can take it out of you.’

Katy continued: ‘I’m really grateful for my body, and I have so much respect for other women going through this process. You get a whole new viewpoint being pregnant.
‘But everything is swollen! My hand are swollen, and my feet are starting to swell!’
Katy also discussed her movie-star other half Orlando, 43, stating he was ‘a great guy.
‘The DNA between the both of us is very high energy, so we’d be surprised if she isn’t! But she’ll be what she is, and I’m, sure she’ll be here to teach us a lesson.’

Katy – who dismissed speculation that Jennifer Aniston was going to be her daughter’s godmother – also spoke candidly about her new single, Smile.
The hitmaker explained that the song was about her ‘coming out of a really dark period of my life in which she was clinically depressed for two years.’
‘It’s about finding hope and light and optimism at the end of the tunnel. It’s 7%5 Prism and 25% Teenage Dream,’ she added.
Katy went on to discuss the stigma surrounding mental health with Kyle, admitting: ‘People will introduce me with all different kinds of accolades, and that’s great, but I can barely keep my sh** together during COVID.’

The artist went on to meet her fiancé Orlando at a Golden Globes after-party in January 2016, and they began dating shortly after.
The pair ended their relationship in 2017 but were back together by April of the following year.
Orlando proposed to his on-off girlfriend on Valentine’s Day in 2019, following an American Idol taping in Los Angeles.
