Gwendoline Christie accentuates her statuesque frame in BIZARRE wing-like jacket and chunky platform boots as she steps out at Paris Fashion Week

Gwendolyn Christie put her statuesque figure on full display on Thursday in an accentuated shoulder coat and towering boots at the Rick Owens show in Paris.

Heading straight for the front row at the latest Paris Fashion Week event, the Game Of Thrones star, 41, commanded attention in the all-black ensemble.

The jacket looked extraordinary, featuring raised wing-like shoulders.

The trench coat swept down her tall frame and she added a black top and slacks underneath.

Her chunky platform boots featured see-through heels.

She wore her platinum blonde locks loosely around her features, which she kept natural with a neutral palette of make-up.

Her outfit was from the Rick Owens collection, with several of the models seen sporting the same winged designs on the runway. 

Joining the audience was singer Usher, who shared a laugh with Owens’ wife Michèle Lamy. 

The pair posed for snaps together – Usher also in black, adding shades to the look, while Michèle displayed her off-the-wall quirky style.

Owens is an American-born, Paris-based designer whose groundbreaking collections have earned him the nickname The Lord of Darkness.

His Gothic aesthetic boasts a fashion-sportswear hybrid with gender neutral designs – usually in black.
