Gordon Ramsay’s son Oscar suffers a hilarious fall in sweet video

Gordon Ramsay has shared a sweet video of his son Oscar taking a fall during their beachside stroll on Monday.

The chef, 53, shared the sweet video of his youngest son, 13 months, losing his balance and falling in the shallow water during the walk close to their home in Cornwall.

Gordon’s outing with his family has sparked yet more backlash after the family were accused of flouting lockdown rules by travelling from London to their second home on the Cornish coast.

In the video, little Oscar was toddling along the coast in a sweet yellow rain jacket and green wellington boots in the sunshine.

As Gordon filmed his little boy he tried to get Oscar’s attention, causing him to jump and accidentally topple into the water.

While Gordon laughed at his son, Oscar didn’t seem impressed that he had gotten wet during the walk.

Captioning the video Gordon playfully wrote: ‘Those boots were made for walking…’

On Monday Gordon faced yet more outrage from Cornish locals by enjoying a beachside stroll with his entire family close to their home.

The fiery chef was accompanied by wife Tana, 45, and three of their five children – Jack, 20, Matilda, 18, and Oscar – during a brisk walk across the beach.

Ramsay’s latest appearance comes after he landed in hot water with the local coastguard, who are said to have issued an official warning to him over his apparent flouting of lockdown guidelines.

Sources indicate that Ramsay has been seen in Rock, Fowey, Port Isaac and Newquay – some distance from his £4 million home in Trebetherick.

The warning is particularly troubling because Ramsay is the face of a ‘Stayhome’ initiative on YouTube which he has been plugging on his ten-minute cookery shows, filmed in ‘isolation’ in his Cornwall kitchen.

A source at the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, whose officers and volunteers carry out regular patrols of the beaches and coastal paths, said: ‘We have reports of him being seen in dozens of different places since lockdown started.

‘He does not seem to be obeying the rules regarding social distancing, exercise and staying at home.

‘We are aware of him having travelled to Port Isaac, which is eight miles away from his home, to Newquay, which is 23 miles away, and even at his third Cornish home in Fowey, which is 25 miles away and a 45-minute drive on a good day.

‘One of our staff spoke to him about the frequency with which he was being seen out and about, and the significant distances. After a period of reflection, he seemed to calm himself and took on board what was being conveyed in a most polite manner.’

Appearing from home in his ‘Stay at Home’ YouTube campaign on Wednesday, Ramsay urged fans to remain behind closed doors and try some of his recipes until current restrictions are lifted.

‘Hi, I’m Gordon Ramsay. Now in order to stop this dreadful virus, we need to stay at home,’ he told viewers.

‘What do we do? Let’s cook along together. I’ve got loads of exciting recipes on my YouTube channel. Have fun and thank you.’

However the video left some people unimpressed, with one raging: ‘Just a quick reminder that appearing on the youtube “stay at home #WithMe” campaign while actually being at your holiday home in Cornwall, putting locals at risk and disobeying government advice, makes you a massive f***ing hypocrite.’ [sic]

While a second fumed: ‘Not the best person to highlight this. He literally ignored lockdown and moved his family to Cornwall and isn’t paying his staff….’

A third added: ‘Stay home and cook no sorry sod off on holiday to Cornwall during a pandemic. He has lost my respect. I’d rather cook with Gino de campo.’ [sis]

The chef has been plagued by controversy from the moment he arrived in Cornwall, with the latest incident coming little more than a week ago.

In a picture taken by the irate local and obtained by The Sun, he was seen wearing the same cycling gear he wore in a post shared with Instagram followers earlier that day.
