Gemma Collins advised a fan who was dumped by her fiancé, ‘good riddance to bad rubbish’ following her own tumultuous breakup from James ‘Arg’ Argent.
The TOWIE star, 39, had been holidaying in Tenerife while Arg, 32, was working in Malaga, but she revealed they had split on Tuesday by posting break up texts on her Instagram account in which James called her a ‘hippo’ and a ‘fat f**k.’
On her podcast, Gemma became emotional as she read out an email from someone called Rebecca who told her she had been dumped and blocked by her partner and had to call off her wedding set for December.

Gemma said she was close to tears reading her story and told her that she would ‘need answers’ but reassured her that ‘everything happens for a reason’.
She said: ‘Oh my God this is terrible, I’m going to start crying in a minute.
‘Rebecca, I’m nearly crying here because I genuinely feel gutted for you – good riddance to bad rubbish, this is what I’m saying.
‘It’s very weird. It’s very… I mean, you know this person more than me, is something going on with him? I mean, I wouldn’t have no one blocking me, I’d be driving round to their house, knocking on the door, saying, “Excuse me mate, you’re meant to be marrying me in a couple of weeks.”

‘I couldn’t let this situation go. I don’t know the ins and outs of this because I’m just reading your email, but the fact that he’s just ended it over the phone and gone missing, I couldn’t sleep at night.
‘Hun, you need to go round to the house. You need some answers and then you need to sell your wedding dress and get on with your life.
‘You don’t know if he’s going through some problems. If he’s having an affair or met someone else well then, yeah forget it.
‘But sometimes some people go through different things and you don’t know. This is shocking, it’s very distressing, but all I can just say to you – everything happens for a reason. It is tough whatever’s happening right now, it will all come good in the end so do not worry.’

In her email, the listener had said she hoped the break-up might have been a ‘blessing’ if the relationship was doomed to fail and Gemma to ‘stay strong’ and find a new man to marry.
She said: ‘As you say, it’s been a blessing in disguise, I’d need a few more answers but ultimately look, it’s best it all got cancelled because if you was to get married and he called it off two weeks later that would have been a hell of a lot worse.
‘Imagine all the paperwork you’d have to fill in getting divorced and all that, so Rebecca stay strong honey, don’t let no one put you down, get the answers that you need and then hopefully this could turn around or just sell it all off, wipe a line under it and hun, get back out there and find the new one to marry.’
It comes after Gemma recently returned to the UK, after she apologised to Arg for releasing their text messages, saying it was ‘wrong.’

In a screenshot obtained by MailOnline, Gemma contacts Arg in the early hours of Wednesday morning and writes: ‘I am sorry about putting the messages up, I was just so hurt you suggested an open relationship, it didn’t look like a joke when you typed it.
‘I was so upset but I shouldn’t have put the messages up, that was anger on my part which was wrong. I am so sorry about that x.’

The self-proclaimed diva has decided to take some time off social media, citing that she was ‘devastated’ and ‘heartbroken’ by the exchange.
Later on Tuesday, it was reported that James had branded his on/off girlfriend a ‘fat selfish b*****’ in an explosive row after he had cosmetic surgery.
According to sources, the former TOWIE star had his ears pinned back and spent his recovery at his Essex home last month following his rehab stint to overcome a cocaine addiction.

The singer is said to have lashed out at the media personality before she decided to end their seven-year relationship for good.

‘She told him he had his own money and he should pay up and he exploded and called her all the names under the sun because he believed Gemma would pay for it.
‘Gemma moaned James is always broke and she was sick of bankrolling him. It was one of their nastiest ever fights and was really toxic.’
