Former Married At First Sight star Melissa Walsh reveals she would ‘100 per cent’ return to the show after splitting from fiancé Fred Whitson
Former Married At First Sight star Melissa Walsh has revealed she is open to returning to the reality dating series.
The 56-year-old was quizzed by fans during an Instagram Q&A on Wednesday, confirming she would go on the show.
‘I know I’m going to get a lot of flack for this but I would 100 per cent do MAFS again,’ Melissa said.

‘I had such a great time and I’m single, so yeah. I would so do it again.’
Melissa questioned if producers would be asking her back on the show but enthusiastically said she was open to it.
The blonde beauty announced that she ended her engagement to artist Fred Whitson last month, after three years together.

The reality star posted a photo of herself fighting back tears as she confirmed the sad news just days before Christmas.
‘After three years together, with a heavy heart I have to say that Fred and I have parted ways,’ she began.
‘I have loved him very much and will always treasure our good times together.’

While she didn’t give a reason for their split, she added that sometimes ‘life doesn’t work out the way we planned.’
The pair were all set to marry back in June in Vanuatu, but put their plans on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Melissa previously told Daily Mail Australia that her wedding was set to be a ‘private affair’.

‘Just the two of us, maybe some friends and family and not a massive production,’ she said.
The pair had announced their engagement back in December 2018.
Melissa rose to fame on Married At First Sight back in early 2018 when she tied-the-knot with co-star John Robertson.

The blonde journalist said that while things didn’t work out between the pair, she recalls their time on the show rather fondly.
‘I thoroughly enjoyed myself, John and I got on amazingly,’ Melissa said.
‘Obviously it didn’t last, but we had the best time together.’
