Gogglebox star Yvie Jones announces an exciting new project with her ‘best friend’

She’s the former Gogglebox fan favorite who was never afraid to speak her mind.

And on Thursday, Yvie Jones revealed she is undertaking an exciting new project with her ‘best friend’ – and it’s not Angie Kent.

The 47-year-old shared a video to Instagram where she announced she is starting a podcast with Annie Potatoes.

 ‘I’m starting a podcast, yes I am!’ Yvie excitedly declared.

‘It’s going to be called Chick Story and I’m doing it with my best friend Annie Potatoes, who you are going to love,’ she added.

Yvie went on to explain the show would share stories of women forgotten by history.

‘It’s about chicks in history, so unknown stories of women in history,’ she said.

The former reality star then put a call out to her 107,000 followers to send her details of women in their families ‘who have great stories’.

Yvie, who quit Gogglebox at the end of 2018, looked sensational in the short clip, wearing a cobalt blue blazer and bright pink drop earrings.

She wore glamorous makeup with a full coverage foundation and a brown palette, a touch of bronzer and a soft pink lip.

Yvie rose to fame sitting alongside Angie Kent on Gogglebox for four seasons from 2015.

In November, she admitted to Now To Love that she couldn’t remember her first two seasons on the program because she was ‘drunk most of the time’.

The bubbly blonde explained that producers would provide her and Angie with alcohol to loosen them up for their time on the couch.

‘To be honest, the first two seasons we were drunk most of time, so I don’t really remember much – It’s all a blur,’ she said.

Yvie and Angie famously quit the show in December after becoming frustrated by their strict contractual obligations and lack of financial compensation.

Since their departure, the pair have accepted lucrative offers elsewhere – with Yvie finding her footing as a radio host for Fox FM and Angie starring as the Bachelorette.
