Gemma Atkinson says her ‘boobs have tripled in size’ as she prepares to welcome her second child

Gemma Atkinson said she feels ‘incredible blessed’ and ‘grateful’ ahead of welcoming her second child with fiancé Gorka Marquez.

The actress, 38, who is already mum to daughter Mia, three, revealed her ‘boobs have tripled in size’ compared to her last pregnancy.

The presenter said she is ’embracing the changes’ to her body despite being trolled over her weight and being told she has ‘let herself go’.

She told OK! Magazine: ‘I’ve carried a lot heavier this time. My legs have got bigger. My boobs have tripled in size – Gorka’s living his best life with those! I embrace the changes because it’s a sign that my body’s doing what it need’s to do.

‘I will always get this stuff – pregnant of not. Even with Mia, I wasn’t one of those women going “Oh no, I’m putting weight on”‘.

The Hollyoaks star, who announced last month she is expecting a baby boy later this year, revealed she has postponed her wedding plans for the time being.

Gorka, 32, popped the question to Gemma on Valentine’s Day in 2021, four years after meeting on Strictly Come Dancing.

She admitted they have considered going to the ‘registry office just to do it’ but it would leave her family disappointed.

Though they haven’t done much planning, she said they have both agreed they only want close family at the nuptials but will throw a huge party to celebrate a week later.

Gemma said: ‘There have been a few times now where we’ve driven past a registry office and said “Shall we just go in and do it?” We’ve not planned anything other than we know we want it really small and really intimate. We’ve agreed on just close family, a handful of friends and a big party a week or so after.’

Earlier this month, Gemma admitted she would consider signing a prenuptial agreement in order to preserve her personal wealth should she ever marry Spanish dancer Gorka.

She explained: ‘From 15 to 33 before I met Gorka, everything I got for myself during that time like properties, which is all still mine, still in my name.

‘With living together with Gorka, especially with Mia, we split everything fifty-fifty… It’s the same for him. He’s had his dance career since he was 16 and he’s got stuff in Spain that’s nothing to do with me.

‘We’ve said anything he’s got from before meeting me and I’ve got from before meeting him, that’s ours. Anything now is our family’s.

‘But if we were to get married, we would do the prenup as well. Just to be sensible about it really and protect Mia more than anybody.’

Gemma and the Strictly Come Dancing professional both took to Instagram last month to announce that they are expecting a baby boy, who is due later this year.

She shared an array of stunning black and white photographs where she showed off her blossoming baby bump as she confirmed her jovial news.

In one snap, she was joined by Gorka, who flashed a huge smile, while another picture saw her daughter Mia sweetly lying across her stomach.

In a caption, Gemma said their daughter Mia, three, is ‘thrilled’ about the news and joked that their son will be called ‘Barbie’ if it was down to their daughter.

She wrote: ‘Impossible to hide my belly any longer. I’ve officially ‘popped’. Our baby boy will be joining our family later this year.

‘We feel so incredibly blessed and grateful to be on this journey again. Mia is absolutely thrilled!

‘Although we may need to do some negotiating on names, as so far she’s adamant he’s going to be called Barbie.’
