But Gabrielle Union and her transgender stepdaughter Zaya Wade found one way to beat the quarantine blues.
Gabrielle, 47, posted a cheerful Instagram snap of her and Zaya, 12 , jumping for joy in the sunshine.

The Instagram was posted Friday, and showed Gabrielle enthusiastically throwing her arms into the air while flashing an elated expression.
The Bring It On actress wore a denim romper and white trainers as she soaked up the fresh air.
Meanwhile, several paces ahead of her, Zaya leaped into the air.

Gabrielle and her family have been doing their best to remain positive in self-isolation, and have been enjoying a host of games to keep their spirits lifted.

As Gabrielle sang along to the song, Kaavia adorably garbled a note out, to the delight of her mother.
