Frankie Essex reveals her horrific ‘hot and itchy’ neck rash following dog walk

Frankie Essex revealed her horrendous neck rash on Wednesday as she confirmed she couldn’t visit her local doctors because it was closed. 

The former TOWIE star, 33, shared snaps of her ‘hot and itchy’ skin with her concerned social media followers, after taking her dogs for a walk. 

As she returned home, she realised her skin had transformed into irritated, tingling red patches. 

Frankie captioned her Instagram images: ‘Just been for a walk with the dogs I felt a bit itchy come home to look at my neck in the mirror to this!  My doctors are closed it’s so hot and itchy.’

A worried fan believed her rash could be connected to the novel coronavirus. They penned: ‘Isn’t a rash a sign of Covid xxxx I’m not quite sure I heard it somewhere hope your okay xx’.

Another commented: ‘Oh babes!!! Take some antihistamines xx’.

TOWIE star Courtney Black wrote: ‘Oh Frank,’ alongside heart emojis. 

Her local doctors is most likely closed due to new lockdown restrictions across the nation, to stop a surge in new COVID-19 cases. 

The government announced earlier this week that citizens must not leave their homes, or be outside, except where necessary 

In a separate Story, the former reality star said: ‘Sorry guys, just been for a walk with the dogs and I was like,”I’ve got a bit of an itch,” and how the hell? 

‘Seriously, what the flipping flip is that? Even the filter doesn’t do it justice. It’s two nights in a row that I couldn’t breath and now I’ve got this.’ 

Later on, Frankie updated fans that her inflamed skin was beginning to calm down. She continued: ‘Update, they’re going down, I took an antihistamine and yeah, I don’t feel as hot but it’s still itchy. 

‘But thanks guys, I don’t know what is going on with me lately.’ 

It comes after Frankie revealed her weight crept up to 12 stone and 13 pounds after ‘hitting rock bottom’ in lockdown. 

In an exclusive interview with MailOnline, the former TOWIE star, 33, admitted she ‘felt like s***’ when she discovered her weight in November after ‘swerving those scales’ during the coronavirus pandemic. 

The beautician – who has shared candid images of herself in underwear – said she aimed to lose up to one and a half stone in eight weeks using Muscle Food’s Goal Getters plan, and would also embark on an exercise regime set up by her personal trainer beau, Luke.    

‘I make so many excuses’, the media personality told us. ‘I got on the scales about two weeks ago at the night time – which you shouldn’t really do – and I was 12st 13lbs. I just thought, ”Oh my God!”

‘I kept making excuses until I hit rock bottom and got on the scales. I didn’t even tell Luke at first, but I’m only hurting myself at the end of the day. It’s not really about the dress size for me, as if I lose weight, I’d still be able to fit into a lot of my clothes.’  

Reality star Frankie has been open about her fluctuating figure in the past, having shed two stone back in 2016, before gaining weight a year later due to a crippling knee injury.’

The older sister of Joey Essex overhauled her eating habits once again in 2019, but insisted she’s struggled to commit to the lifestyle since COVID-19 struck.     

She added: ‘I tend to put on weight on my legs and my belly, but I usually have a small waist. I recently started working at a school, and I’ve just been eating all the sweet treats! I can’t eat what I want everyday.’
