And on Wednesday, a woman revealed a bizarre experience she had during her time as an intern working for one of Kerri-Anne’s programs.
Writer Nadine von Cohen was in year 10 when she was assigned a strange task ahead of a guest appearance by American singer Diana Ross.

The I’m Coming Out star appeared on Kerri-Anne’s daytime talk show Midday in 1997.
Ms von Cohen tweeted: ‘When I was working on Kerri-Anne’s show Diana Ross was a guest and this dude showed up with a giant collage of her and a box and they got me – a 16-year-old – to search the box for weapons.’
‘He had none. The end,’ she added.
The task may seem odd, but it’s not unusual for work experience kids to do grunt work at the start of their careers while trying to get a foot on the ladder.

Kerri-Anne almost certainly had no knowledge of Ms von Cohen’s undertaking at the time. Channel Nine declined to comment.

Although the TV legend did not reprise her role on stage, she attended the final curtain call with the cast.
