Can’t spare a minute? Lisa Wilkinson claims she hasn’t seen former Today co-host Karl Stefanovic for over two years because ‘the timing hasn’t worked’
Lisa Wilkinson has done little to dispel rumours of a feud with her former Today show co-host Karl Stefanovic.
And on Sunday, Lisa, 60, confirmed that she hasn’t seen Karl, 45, since her departure from Today almost three years ago.
‘The timing just hasn’t worked,’ Lisa told Stellar magazine of the reason why she and Karl haven’t crossed paths since 2017.

Lisa confirmed she also hasn’t spent time with her Today show replacement Georgie Gardner.
The Sunday Project host, however, did say she is still in touch with former colleagues Sylvia Jeffreys and Ben Fordham.
Lisa and Karl were considered the reigning king and queen of breakfast TV during their decade-long run on the show, until 2017.

Lisa has in the past poked fun at her acrimonious relationship with Karl, especially after the former colleagues came face to face at the Logies last year.
Appearing on The Project alongside Hamish Macdonald soon after, Lisa joked about telling Karl off on the red carpet.
Turning his attention to Lisa, Hamish asked the burning question: ‘So, what did you say to Karl on the red carpet?’

Lisa said in a matter-of-fact way: ‘I told him to go [BLEEP] himself.’
Lisa made clear she was joking during the comedic segment.
It came after a report by New Idea magazine, that Karl and Lisa acted like strangers on the red carpet.

‘The pair didn’t spend any time chatting to each other,’ an insider told the magazine.
The source added that Lisa seemed like she was trying to avoid Karl altogether.
Earlier that year, Lisa took a not-so-subtle dig at Karl in an interview with The Herald Sun.
Lisa said it was difficult working with ‘big egos’ and applauded the ‘integrity’ and high ‘caliber’ of her colleagues at Channel 10.
‘I’m not great around big egos, that doesn’t bring out the best in me,’ she remarked.
