Former Married At First Sight star Ines Basic shows off a mysterious tattoo near her groin

Ines Basic left little to the imagination when she stripped down to a revealing bodysuit for a series of videos posted to Instagram on Tuesday.

But it was a tattoo near the 30-year-old former Married At First Sight star’s groin that had fans talking.   

‘What’s it say near your budju???’ commented one fan, while another asked, ‘What is that tattoo down there?’ 

Wrote one person: ‘I don’t know if you are taking the p**s but I dead set couldn’t stop watching… cringing, thinking “wat does the tat…’

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Thursday, Ines confirmed the mysterious marking is a tattoo, and said it was the first one she ever got.

‘It’s just a small piece dedicated to the four elements of nature – water, fire, air, earth,’ she explained. 

She added: ‘It was my first tattoo at 18. I forget I even have that tattoo it’s been a part of me for so long!’ 

In the videos, Ines wears just a black and brown camo-print bodysuit with a high-cut leg, and her long brown hair is pulled up in a topknot.

A tattoo near the left side of her crotch can be seen peeking out from underneath the bodysuit’s fabric.

‘When ppl ask me how my weekend was… imagine this but on steroids,’ she captioned the videos.

It’s not the first time Ines’ tattoos have raised questions with the former reality star’s fans.

When she first appeared on Married At First Sight in 2019, fans were curious about her two prominent shoulder tattoos.

Eagle-eyed viewers noticed that the tattoo on her left shoulder read ‘snaga’, while the word on right shoulder appeared to say ‘ljubav’. 

Both Bosnian words, ‘snaga’ means ‘strength’, while ‘ljubav’ translates to ‘love’ in English. 

Ines was born in Bosnia before immigrating to Australia with her family when she was a child.
