The 39-year-old former Australian rules footballer paid tribute to his partner of 15 years on her 43rd birthday, sharing a photo of her with an old age filter.

Luckily, Alex was able to see the humour in his post, but the makeup artist confessed many people assumed that was how she really looked.
‘If I didn’t have issues about ageing [sic] already, I sure do now,’ she commented.

It’s not the first time Brendan has shared the unflattering photo, seemingly discovering the filter in July last year.
‘Living with me really does take it out of @alexfevolamakeup,’ he wrote on Instagram at the time, adding the hashtags, ‘#imdead #lifesbeengood #bye #faceapp’.
