Fifi Box and Brendan Fevola have flawless on-air chemistry on their FOX FM radio show Fifi, Fev & Byron.

And on Sunday, Fifi revealed how she kick-started the former AFL player’s broadcast career after watching him on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2016 – before he won the season. 

‘When he went into the jungle, I saw a different side to Fev. I was enamoured with him immediately,’ she told the Herald Sun.

‘I said: “This guy is gonna win because he’s a firecracker, his personality is phenomenal, but he’s a really good guy.” 

‘As soon as he got out of the jungle, I said to my boss: “Quick, get him in.” It was such a nice fit from the moment he was on our show, and he’s become one of my best friends.’ 

After winning season two of I’m a Celebrity in March 2016, Brendan joined Fifi and Dave Thornton on Fifi, Fev and Dave the following month.

Byron Cooke joined in January 2017 before Dave left in September of that year, creating Fifi, Fev and Byron as we know it today.  

Brendan has contributed some hilarious stories to the popular radio show. 

Last month, the former AFL star revealed he was forced to delete Uber Eats after discovering he spent $35,000 on takeaway food in 2019.

Last Thursday, Fifi turned 43 and received an outpouring of celebrity well wishes. 

She shares her eldest daughter, Trixie, with former professional Ironman Grant Kenny and has a younger daughter, Daisy Belle, who was conceived via IVF and an anonymous donor.

 Meanwhile, Brendan has four daughters, the youngest of whom is one-year-old Tobi.
