Farmer Wants a Wife’s Madison MacKenzie leaves Harry Robertson ‘gutted’

Madison MacKenzie was left smitten with farmer Harry Robertson after their 24 hour date. 

But when the rest of his top four ladies –  Stacey, Ashleigh and Kalarna – arrived during Monday’s episode, the 24-year-old Queenslander became quite shy and retreated inside herself. 

First, she refused to held feed the lambs on Harry’s Goolgowi, New South Wales, farm, and hid in the kitchen drinking tea and sulking instead. 

‘People have different personalities, it is really hard to surround yourself with people you’re not completely used to. It is hard,’ she complained.   

Harry, 28, admitted he was very disappointed that Mads didn’t muck in on the farm, saying, ‘Everyone else had a crack and got involved’. 

Things only got worse when Madison vanished from the dinner table and hid in her room, crying. 

Harry returned from a chat with one of the other girls only to find Madison had slipped away.    

‘It was gutting not to see her at the table,’ he said, before going off to find her in her room, at which point he cuddled and comforted the weeping blonde.  

‘Harry is really nice but it’s hard to be trusting, my walls are still up,’ Madison explained to camera. 

Madison told Harry she liked him, and he said he felt the same, before leaving her to cry it out. 

‘I’ve tried to help her a lot, there’s only so much I can do really. She needs her own space at the moment to deal with the emotions she’s got going on,’ he said.  

Despite her tantrum, Harry decided not to send Madison home that night, which left the other girls feeling that he was perhaps being too kind.
