Famke Janssen shows of stellar fashion sense in black peacoat and plaid skirt during errand run

She’s never one to skimp when it comes to her fashionable wardrobe.

And on Monday Famke Janssen dressed the part once again when she stepped out on an errand run in her adopted hometown of New York City.

The X-Men star showed off her sense of style and statuesque 6ft figure in black peacoat over one of her trademark plaid skirt and black top.

With the winter chill still in the air, the Dutch actress had her coat buttoned to the top and wore matching leather gloves.

She also donned black leggings underneath her skirt along with a pair of black boots with a faux fur lining.

Janssen, 56, made sure to wear a a black protective mask over her mouth and nose with COVID-19 still a serious concern.         

At times, Janssen wore wide-frame sunglasses when the glare of the sun became too strong.

On this day her dark brown tresses were styled long and flowing to past the middle of her back with a part on the slight left.  

The actress currently has no less than three films coming out this year: the romantic-drama, Redeeming Love, and the action-thrillers, The Vault, and Dangerous. 

Initially, the Netherlands native began her career as a fashion model in the 1980s, but transitioned to acting by the early 90s with guest starring roles in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Melrose Place, which were both massive hit shows.  

She saw her star rise around the world when she played Xenia in 1995’s Goldeneye, starring Pierce Brosnan as 007 James Bond. 

Janssen has since gone on to star in the X-Men film series (2000-2014), the Taken film franchise (2008-2014), as well as TV hits Nip/Tuck (2004-2010) and How To Get Away With Murder (2015-2019).
