He’s rumoured to be dating mother-of-two Amanda King, whom he met at his daughter’s primary school.

The pair were seen dining at the popular Le Paris café in Bondi Beach, Sydney.

Amanda looked rather animated as she chatted to the Channel Nine presenter.

She showcased her youthful fashion sense in a ripped white T-shirt with skinny jeans, and styled her blonde hair in a pixie cut.

Amanda completed her look with a cross-body handbag, aviator sunglasses and strappy black sandals.

Meanwhile, Steve kept things casual in a black T-shirt and white chino shorts, and added a touch of bling with a silver bracelet.

The rumoured couple quenched their thirst with a bottle of S.Pellegrino sparkling water as they waited for their coffees.

On October 26, the pair were spotted looking very flirty during a boozy picnic at Bronte Park. At one stage, Amanda even flashed her chest at Steve.

Despite rumours of a romance, Steve told Daily Mail Australia last year that their relationship was strictly platonic.

‘Sorry to disappoint, but there’s nothing romantic happening between the two of us,’ he said. ‘We’re great mates.’

Steve was previously married to TV presenter Rosie Jacobs, who is the mother of his two daughters, Isabella and Francesca, but they separated in 2017.

They split just months after relocating to Vanuatu in what friends described at the time as a ‘last-ditch attempt’ to save their seven-year marriage.

‘I think there were a few people who sensed something was up when they moved to Vanuatu,’ a friend told Daily Mail Australia in 2018.

‘The sea change was basically a last ditch attempt to make things work, but it wasn’t to be unfortunately.’

Steve famously quit the Today show in 2016 to work on his marriage, before returning to the network in 2017 as a weather presenter on Weekend Today.

He returned to the main Today show for its 2019 relaunch, but was let go later in the year and replaced by Tim Davies.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Steve Jacobs and Channel Nine for comment.
