Ex-cricketer Brett Lee sells his Sydney home for more than $9million

Howzat for a sale! Ex-cricketer Brett Lee sells his Sydney home for more than $9million… just six days after putting it on the market

Brett Lee made quite the profit when he sold his northern Sydney home recently.

After listing the Clontarf property for between $8million to $8.8million, the home sold for more than $9million, according to Domain on Thursday.

The newly-renovated property had only been on the market for six days when it was sold to a mystery buyer.

The exact sale price is not known though, due to a confidentiality agreement.

Brett bought the home with his wife of six years, Lana Anderson, back in 2016, paying $5.175million for it at the time.

Prior to purchasing the home in Sydney’s northern beaches, they owned a property in Seaforth, which they sold for $4.91million.

They are reportedly planning on buying another home in Sydney, with Lana planning on renovating it.

The three-storey Clontarf home boasts open-plan living areas, a separate guest suite and recording studio, and a covered heated swimming pool.

There’s also a barbecue area, pizza oven and wet bar.

After taking some time out from the limelight, Brett surprised TV viewers when he appeared on The Masked Singer last year.

In an interview with PopSugar in September, he revealed he had been given the opportunity to appear on several reality shows in the past, but turned them all down.

‘This appealed to me because it’s intriguing, the whole undercover aspect and the secrecy thing. It’s not an all out singing show per se, it’s also about the costumes, the excitement and the fun,’ he said of appearing on The Masked Singer.
