The 24-year-old told The Daily Telegraph’s Confidential on Wednesday that there’s limited modelling opportunities in Australia for women of colour.

‘I want to do more modelling, I want to travel because there’s not much work here for me,’ the Namibian-born star said.

‘Most jobs go to others. That’s why I went to South Africa and even there, the market is still dominated by European girls. I’ll try America and England,’ she added.

Vakoo went on to reveal that she’s single and hopes to meet her match one day.

Meanwhile, back in September, the glamazon issued a dire warning to brands that were hoping to secure her services as an up-and-coming influencer without proper compensation.

Vakoo took to Instagram Stories at the time, revealing that companies had asked her to promote products without monetary offers.

‘I really enjoy that brands are now reaching out to me and they like my content enough to want to be involved with me. However, I don’t enjoy being asked to do things for fee,’ she said.

Vakoo, who has over 28K followers on Instagram, continued: ‘I don’t know if it’s because you don’t respect me enough to pay me for my time, effort and energy to create content for your product. FREE PRODUCTS don’t pay my bills.’

‘So you want me to post your product and help you possibly make money from it while I get nothing but a teeth whitening kit or whatever it may be?

‘Please, let’s be fair here, I want to work with new people and have great relationships but don’t treat me like I’m stupid,’ she warned.

In a follow-up post, Vakoo clarified that her previous rant wasn’t aimed at small businesses but rather brands ‘that can definitely pay but think I’m an amateur and I’ll always be happy with free products.’
