Emma Louise Connolly jokes about no longer being able to zip up her Ganni dress after indulging in fast food and sweet treats during lockdown

She’s used to showing off her stunning figure in glamorous swimwear campaigns.

But Emma Louise Connolly offered a refreshing take on the perils of post-lockdown life as she admitted she can no longer zip up one of her Ganni dresses in a candid Instagram snap on Tuesday.

The model, 28, posed side on in the tight leopard print designer frock which had a gaping hole in it where it should have been fastened up, as she joked about indulging in fast food and sugary treats.

Emma teamed a white and cream sunhat with the dress to create what would have been the perfect summer outfit, before sharing a close-up shot of her cleavage.

The Scottish beauty – who is engaged to Made In Chelsea star Oliver Proudlock, 31 – wore her long golden tresses loose down her back.

Emma wrote alongside the honest post: ‘Lockdown has been very kind to me at the expense of my favourite @ganni dresses zipping up.’

She joked in the hashtags ‘maybe try next month’, while accompanying the caption with a selection of fast food, doughnut, chocolate and cookie emojis.

Emma and Oliver recently had their April wedding pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Instead, the couple held a romantic picnic in their garden on what would have been the eve of their big day.

Oliver took to Instagram to show off the sweet celebrations with his followers.

Gushing over his beautiful bride-to-be, Oliver penned: ‘Twas the night before. @emmalouiseconnolly you are beyond, thank you for showing me a whole new meaning of the word love. I cannot wait to marry you.’

Emma also shared a series of snaps, writing: ‘Although this time feels very different to what we had planned, I am so grateful, lucky and bursting with love to have you by my side today and forever.

‘I can’t WAIT to marry you @proudlock. Thank you to our amazing families who have just made everything so special from afar.’

Emma looked radiant in the images as she donned a billowing baby blue tulle gown and matching veil.

The couple announced their engagement in August 2018 after Oliver got down on one knee during a romantic trip to Gothenburg, Sweden, to mark their four-year anniversary.
