Victorious star Elizabeth Gillies, 27, marries composer, 47, who worked on her Nickelodeon show when she was a teenager
Elizabeth Gillies, 27, married Michael Corcoran, 47, months after postponing their wedding due to the ongoing pandemic.
The Dynasty actress shared the news of her gorgeous nuptials to Vogue on Wednesday and released a few photos by photographer Emily Lipson from the big day on Instagram.
Gillies and Corcoran, who had been dating for six years, said ‘I do’ at the Inn at Fernbrook Farms in New Jersey with a small group of friends and family to witness their union.
Gillies walked down aisle wearing a satin dress with a cape from Britt Wood Designs in Atlanta, where the couple relocated for her work on Dynasty.
Michael is known for his work in the Disney sphere, having composed the music for Victorious, iCarly and Zoey101.
Elizabeth starred as Jade West for 56 episodes of Victorious, working alongside Ariana Grande, Victoria Justice and Daniella Monet.
She added an Oscar de la Renta veil and satin Jimmy Choo shoes to complete her dreamy bridal look.
The bride and groom and originally set a wedding date for April 25, but pushed the day back a full year due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
‘Once we saw how dire the situation was, we knew we had to postpone,’ she said. ‘It was a no-brainer for us. Aside from the obvious travel and crowd restrictions, it didn’t feel right to be celebrating in such a big way when there was so much going on in the world.
‘It would have been in poor taste to burden people by asking them to risk their lives to come to our wedding. There were more important things to focus on. Our wedding could wait.’
‘The virus really put things into perspective. That being said, we did want to get married as long as it could be done in a safe and intimate setting with a group that we trusted.’

The ceremony was planned in one month and Elizabeth’s father served as their officiant.
‘It has been such a long road for us, and at times [it] felt like a total impossibility that it was hard to believe we’d actually gotten to that moment where it was really happening,’ Gillies said.
‘Once we were exchanging vows, it hit me that my dad was marrying us and our loved ones were there, and I think I turned to Michael and mouthed, “Oh, my God, we actually did it.” We were so happy.’
Michael is known for his work in the Disney sphere, having composed the music for Victorious, iCarly and Zoey101; the couple have dated for more than six years (seen in 2014)
