In recent episodes, Sharon Beale [Letitia Dean] had been blaming absent Tina for the disappearance of her husband Ian [Adam Woodyatt], despite being behind his secret poisoning herself.

This left Linda Carter [Kellie Bright] furious with Sharon, thinking they were best friends.

Meanwhile, Gray was seen soliciting a homeless woman with money, who looked suspiciously similar to Tina.

With Shirley Carter [Linda Henry] seemingly cottoning on to Gray’s last interaction with her sister Tina, it seems the killer is resorting to new measures to cover up his crimes.

EastEnders continues on BBC One on Friday at 8:10PM.
