DWTS contestant Chrishell Stause rehearses for next week’s ‘villains’ episode

Dancing with the Stars contestant Chrishell Stause headed to ABC Studios in Los Angeles on Tuesday to rehearse her paso doble for ‘Villains Night’ next week.

The 39-year-old Daytime Emmy nominee did not protect herself or others from the coronavirus by wearing a mask or face covering, which Governor Gavin Newsom made mandatory for all public outings on June 18.

As of Tuesday, there have been over 289K confirmed COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles leading to 6,877 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University. 

Earlier, Chrishell (born Terrina) thanked her fans for voting for her the prior evening as she earned her best score yet in the ABC competition – 24 out of 30 points.

‘This experience has been so meaningful and truly so special,’ Stause – who boasts 1.9M social media followers – tweeted.

‘I felt my parents with me last night and that’s a priceless feeling I will absolutely never forget.’

The Selling Sunset star and her dance partner Gleb Savchenko dedicated their contemporary routine to Grace Potter & The Nocturnals’ 2012 song Stars to her mother Ranae and father Jeff, who died from lung cancer in July and last year.     

The Russian 37-year-old – who’s never won the Mirrorball Trophy – thanked his fans a little differently than Chrishell, by sharing three shirtless snaps.

Stause is still not ready to date nearly a year after This Is Us star Justin Hartley filed for divorce from her on November 22 following two years of marriage.

‘It’s something I’m looking forward to as soon as [DWTS] is over, but hopefully people will vote so it won’t be right away,’ the Kentucky-born brunette said on Tamron Hall’s ABC talk show last Friday.

I’m going to venture out once I’m done with this. You know, Tamron, what it really is – I’m just waiting to get my dancer body on and then I’m gonna be like, “Okay, I’m ready!”‘    

Also rehearsing for the 29th season was The Bachelorette #11 Kaitlyn Bristowe, who flaunted her taut tummy in a grey cropped T-shirt and white joggers.

The Canadian 35-year-old scraped her ombre locks into a messy top bun and she pulled down her black dotted mask to smile at waiting photographers. 

Kaitlyn – who’s still nursing her ankle injury – and her dance partner Artem Chigvintsev also happen to be rehearsing a paso doble routine. 

Bristowe and the Russian-American 38-year-old earned a score of 27 out of 30 the previous evening for their samba to Justin Bieber’s 2015 song Sorry.  

Former Disney Channel star Skai Jackson pulled up to the rehearsal studio in a tie-dye hoodie and matching sweatpants with Nike high-tops. 

The 18-year-old Staten Islander toted a massive red purse and had her hair styled in corn-rows. 

Skai – who was prepping her Argentine tango – protected herself from the fast-spreading virus by wearing a grey face mask. 

Jackson and her dance partner Alan Bersten earned the lowest score of week six – 18 out of 30 – for their cha-cha-cha to Doja Cat’s new track Say So featuring Nicki Minaj.

Coincidentally, Catfish producer-host Nev Schulman was also at rehearsal to work on the paso doble on Tuesday and he arrived mask-less. 

The 36-year-old native New Yorker (born Yaniv) and his dance partner Jenna Johnson earned a 26 out of 30 for their jazz routine to Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch’s 1991 song Good Vibrations.
