The duo will have plenty in common with their roots in fashion. Will’s father Arie is the former President and COO of Chanel. He is still on the board as vice chariman.

Alexandra, known also as Allie, is the director of fashion development at Vogue. She was previously linked to investor Tyler Winklevoss.

Will and Drew have been amicably co-parenting the two daughters they share; Olive, eight, and Frankie, six, in New York, following their divorce.

In October, Drew spoke candidly about the impact her split from Will had on her life, revealing that she ‘really did not take divorce well. I took it really hard.’

Barrymore admitted that she was just starting to come to terms with being able to talk about her marriage openly while speaking to Willie Geist on Sunday Today.

‘I don’t think I would have been able to talk about it as openly at first,’ she said, continuing, ‘I really did not take divorce well. I took it really hard.’

The 45-year-old actress continued to open up about what her marriage meant for her daughters and why she fought so hard to keep the family together.

‘I was, like, ‘Oh, the ultimate promise I wanted to make with you and for you was to have this amazing family. And I found them. And there’s something not working that isn’t livable. How tragic is that?,’ she said.

Drew said she felt determined to give her daughters something she never had.

Will and Drew ultimately decided to split in 2016 after four years of marriage together.

The two announced the news with a joint statement, but also shared that they were trying to emphasize family throughout the process.

‘Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family,’ the couple said.

They continued, ‘Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on. Our children are our universe, and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority.’

Speaking about her initial attraction to Will, Barrymore revealed it was not a cosmic sort of love.

‘Will struck a lot of my pragmatic sides…He was someone who was always reachable on the phone, someone who was a classy human being, someone who has this incredible blueprint of a family that I don’t have,’ she said.

Drew also continued to say that they put their children first.

‘I know everyone says you’re supposed to put your coupledom first. But I really love it being all about the kids,’ she said.

She continued to share that she is not sure if love is in the cards for her again though she is finally at a happy place in her life with her career and her children.

‘I don’t know how to open that up again. It’s like something closed, and it stayed closed. I think I’m equally as scared to find love again as I would be as if it never happened,’ she said.
