Diddy once refused to leave a Sydney airport for ’15 HOURS’ because the two limousines were not to his liking, claims Australian Idol judge Dicko

Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson has sensationally claimed that American rapper Diddy once refused to leave Sydney Airport for 15 hours – all because the two limousines arranged for his entourage weren’t up to his standards.

The former Australian Idol judge shared the musician’s alleged demands in an interview with Brisbane’s Stav, Abby and Matt on Thursday.

He claimed that Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, had refused one limousine because it was white and he wanted a black one.

Dicko added: ‘Then when we finally sent a black one, he said, “I’m not leaving because the stereo system in the limo is not good enough for me to listen to my mixes.”‘

The record executive continued: ‘So that idiot sat around the bloody airport for about 15 hours like Tom Hanks in that movie.’

Dicko was referring to the 2004 comedy The Terminal, in which Tom’s character is forced to live in an airport.

‘Ultimately, that’s the sort of nonsense you have to deal with,’ he added.

‘I would love to be that famous and that unreasonable, it would be awesome.’

Daily Mail Australia has contacted a representative for Diddy for further comment.

It’s not the first time Dicko has made wild claims about the celebrities he’s worked with in the past.

In 2019, the industry veteran spoke about a memorable encounter with Mariah Carey on Celebrity Name Game, where he revealed the bizarre request allegedly made before she headed on a TV show.

‘When I was working in the UK, we had Mariah Carey come to town to do a Saturday morning TV show,’ Dicko told host Grant Denyer.

‘As part of her request to our team, when she went to this TV station, in her dressing room we had to put 12 white Labrador puppies!’ he said.
