Diane Kruger and Kiernan Shipka look FREEZING while shooting scenes for new show Swimming With Sharks in the sea in Miami… as they appear of set for the first time

Diane Kruger and Kiernan Shipka were spotted on set of their new series Swimming With Sharks for the first time on Wednesday. 

The superstar duo, aged 43 and 20 respectively, appeared to be absolutely freezing as they shot scenes in the ocean in Miami for the forthcoming series which is based on George Huang’s 1994 movie about a Hollywood assistant.

Heading out on a jet ski, the pair were filming in the ocean with wetsuits under their dresses however once the camera was turned off they bundled up under blankets and jumpers while shooting the new show, for Quibi streaming service.

Diane and Kiernan certainly proved themselves to be dedicated to their trades while shooting the scenes as the immersed themselves in the chilly waters. 

Bundled under blankets and being supported by aides, the duo could not contain their chills as they got to work on the exciting show.  

The series was announced earlier this month, with much furor surrounding the ladies’ signing and the decision to do a gender swap on the characters. 

The modern Swimming With Sharks is a spin of the Nineties movie which saw Frank Whaley play Guy, a naive assistant who is recruited to work beneath the industry’s most powerful producer Buddy Ackerman – played originally by Kevin Spacey.

Written by Kathleen Robertson, directed by Tucker Gates and directed by Chris Cowles, the all-star show is already causing mass buzz on the Hollywood scene.

The show is set to air on Quibi, an upcoming American short-form mobile video platform founded by Jeffrey Katzenberg. 

Quibi describe the series as: ‘In the series adaptation, Lou, a young female assistant, works for Joyce, a sole female studio head, at a company filled with manipulators, schemers and intrigue, but little do they know Lou is poised to outwit them all.’
