‘My boyfriend just surprised me with this and I’m in love’: Delighted Ashley James shows off new Cartier ring from her very handsome beau
They’ve went Instagram official at the start of the year and Ashley James revealed her boyfriend has surprised her with a £1,150 Cartier Trinity ring during lockdown.
Showing off the triple band ring on Instagram stories on Wednesday, the 33-year-old wrote: ‘My boyfriend just surprised me with this and I’m in loveee.’
Ashley is yet to reveal her handsome beau’s name but it seems the pair are rather taken with one another.

The Trinity ring classic is made from three rings in 18k white, yellow and rose gold.
According to Cartier’s website, ‘the ring was conceived by Louis Cartier in 1924, and is one of the Maison’s signature pieces of jewellery.
‘The three interlaced and mobile bands, open for interpretation by the wearer, are the timeless inspiration behind an iconic collection, a symbol of style and elegance.’
In April, model and DJ Ashley said she thought she had found ‘a keeper’ after six years being single, but still finds it awkward discussing her new relationship.

Alongside a snap of the pair, she mused: ‘I still find it really awkward talking about my relationship.
‘I’ve still got so much single pride and am fiercely independent, and I want to continue to encourage everyone to feel positive if they’re single.
‘But I’ll say this. Before meeting this guy, I worried that perhaps being single for so long I’d become TOO independent to ever be happy with someone.
‘I didn’t want another half or someone to complete me, I didn’t want a ‘best friend’, as I already have some.’

Admitting that she was worried she would have to change herself to be with someone else, she continued: ‘I worried I’d have to tone down my opinions or compromise who I was to be with someone.
‘But I’ve found someone equally as independent, encouraging, so loving, so good at not taking my s**t, and more importantly someone emotionally available from the get go.
‘Someone who supports my insistence on celebrating Valentine’s Day with all my friends so I never leave anyone out if they aren’t in a relationship.’
