David Warner practises his one-handed catching skills during coronavirus self-isolation

David Warner is ensuring that the recent COVID-19 outbreak, which has forced Australians to self-isolate, isn’t going to get in the way of his A-Game.

On Tuesday, the 33-year-old Australian cricket legend shared footage to social media as he practised working on his ball skills.

‘Just trying to keep up the skills with some one-hand catching,’ he wrote alongside the post, before he added the words: ‘Remember soft hands’.

In the video, the cricket star is seen slamming a tennis ball with a racquet against a wall and catching it with his left-hand, while his adorable Indi Rae, four, looks on.

David opted for workout clothes for the occasion, which included a long-sleeve grey shirt, black shorts, joggers and a cap.

It comes after the father-of-three shared footage reminding his daughter, Indi Rae, to always use hand sanitiser after ‘touching anything’.

The youngster, who appeared to be at day care at the time, answered questions from her famous father as she kept her hands clean.

‘So why do we use this, Indi [Rae]?’ David was heard asking his daughter in the clip, to which she responded: ‘Because the virus.’

‘Yeah, we’ve got to be very, very careful, don’t we?’ David continued, before adding: ‘Always got to wash our hands. We use hand sanitiser, don’t we? After we touch anything…’

Indi Rae, who looked cute as a button in a floral ensemble, nodded in agreement.
