Danielle Lloyd starts off the new year with an immune booster IV drip

She recently appeared to flout coronavirus rules after celebrating her birthday with friends in a limousine.

Yet Danielle Lloyd was moving on from the scandal as she started off the new year with a healthy dose, by receiving an immune booster IV drip at home on Friday.

The CBB star, 37, sat on her sofa, opting for comfort in grey tracksuit bottoms and a black t-shirt with ‘VI’ written across the front as she had the intravenous booster placed in her arm, which she held out to show her fans.

‘This year I want to focus on my health and fitness’: Danielle Lloyd was moving on from her coronavirus-flouting scandal as she started off the new year with a healthy dose, by receiving an immune booster IV drip at home on Friday.

Danielle rested her arm on one of the black, crushed velvet cushions as the drip was administered into her arm. The former WAG posted a short clip on her story of Dr Simon Khela administering the drip into her arm.

The mother-of-four wrote: ‘Thank you @drsimonkhela for giving me my immune booster starting my new year off right.

‘This year I want to focus on my health and fitness and these IV drips are an amazing why to give me a head start, more energy and strong immune. #newyearnewme #ivdripvitamintherapy’ [sic].

IV drips for boosting immunity hydrate the body as well as providing more vitamins, nutrients and boosting antioxidant levels to accelerate the recovery process.

The treatment pushes these nutrients straight into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system, and ensuring they can be used straight away.

Last month, Danielle took to Instagram to share snaps from her birthday party, as she posed with three friends for a selfie.

She then filmed a number of videos showing the mask-less group dancing inside a limousine with no social distancing in place.

Nowhere? While Danielle claimed in her comments she went 'nowhere', her slew of videos were very much to the contrary as the four women drank and danced on top of one another, after she shared a selfie with 'Out, out' emblazoned on top

Birmingham, where Danielle lives, was in Tier Three which was at the time the most severe restriction at ‘very high alert’.

It meant residents were banned from meeting anyone outside of their household or bubble indoors.

Danielle’s videos appeared to show a flagrant flouting of the rules, including one clip showing one of her friends lying on top of another pal.

Out out... but going nowhere? Danielle shared a selfie with 'out out' emblazoned across the image, in a bizarre move considering she told a fan she went 'nowehere'

She also shared a snap of a pal in a restaurant, implying they had travelled between tiers to an area with lightened laws where restaurants could keep doors still open.

When one fan queried: ‘Where have you gone? Tier 3 please tell me so I can go x’, Danielle simply penned: ‘no where xx’, however her Instagram Stories told a different tale as she shared snaps getting close to her friends in a limousine.

Fans soon flooded the comments section of her Instagram post to write: ‘You’re a z list celeb then your exempt from tier rules…

Will it end in tiers? Danielle's videos appear to show a flagrant flouting of the rules, including the rather alarming clip showing one of her friends lying on top of another pal

‘And this is why the country is in a mess with the majority of it in tier 3, selfish attention seekers like you can’t stay in for one effing day!! Should be ashamed of yourself for bragging about breaking the rules, I hope you all get a huge fine!!…

‘It was my birthday the other day, I couldn’t see friends or family, why do you think you are above the law? Shame on you, especially rubbing it in people’s faces! I just hope no one you love dies from this awful virus…

‘If you are still living in the Midlands then shame on you for breaking and publicly flouting the rules. I never comment on celebrity posts normally, but all those poor people struggling and that have lost loved ones, it’s just not responsible…

Is that two metres? As she posed for snaps with pals, she went without a mask and got perilously close to the other party guests

‘It’s up to you what you do, but do it in private and not all over social media. If you are in an area which this is allowed, I apologise… Absolute joke!!!…

‘Blatantly flaunting the rules!!!! People are dying, the NHS is on its knees trying to take care of everyone and businesses are going bust but you just carry on doing what you want thinking you are above everyone else in the U.K. disgusting!!!!!…

‘Will wait for the excuses tomorrow when you sober up!!!!!!… And you are the reason Tier 3 continues. Shame on you for bragging about breaking the rules. Well done.’
