Danielle Armstrong returns to Instagram after taking a break to move house with new born Orla Mae

She welcomed daughter Orla Mae at the end of last month alongside fiancé Tom Edney.   

And Danielle Armstrong has revealed she took a brief break from Instagram last week after a ‘crazy weekend’ moving house. 

The first-time-mum spoke to her 1.3 million followers on her Stories and said the couple are ‘absolutely exhausted’ but ‘pleased to be settled.’

The former TOWIE star was relaxing on the sofa at home with baby Orla asleep on Tom beside her.

She said to the camera: ‘Hello my lovelies. We are here, chilled.

‘I’ve been MIA on Instagram and social media because we have had the mentalist weekend, haven’t we.

‘Literally, moved in this weekend. We’re currently on our new sofa.’

Tom then shared: ‘Orla loves it.’ To which Danielle agreed: ‘Yeah she loves it, she’s chilled.’

She then added: ‘Why would we move with a newborn? I’m absolutely exhausted but pleased that we’re settled.’ 

It comes after Danielle candidly discussed her ‘tough’ labour after she welcomed an overdue Orla on May 26, who weighed 8Ibs 11oz.

After revealing the joyous news, Danielle shared a short clip breastfeeding her newborn as she admitted she felt as though she had been ‘hit by a bus’ after labour.

Gesturing at her daughter, Danielle began: ‘She’s currently on the boob, Orla Mae, you kept us waiting!..

‘Not even going to talk about the labour, I’ll do that another day. But she’s here, that’s all that matters.’

She continued: ‘I am exhausted. I think all women that have children are superheroes – and midwives. I am exhausted. Oh my god, I literally feel like I’ve been hit by a bus.

Danielle announced that she was expecting her first child back in November, with the star sharing a sweet Polaroid collage featuring herself and her beau.
